Quick update from the phone. We are at the hospital now. I am 1cm diliated only so they just did the cerviadil insertion and we will be spending the night. Baby is head down and I did lose my plug this am. His heart rate is great and is reacting well to the few contractions I am having. Everything is going great so far, dad is getting super excited!

Thanks for the well wishes and alj or I will keep you posted
Thanks for the update, sending lots of labor dust your way KT!!! Won''t be long now. Best of luck!!!! Best wishes to your husband as well. I bet he''s sooooo excited!!! I guess from now on Auntie Alj will give updates.
BTW, the pics she took of you being preggo with your husband, were really beautiful.

KT, good luck! It won''t be long until you''re holding your little one!

YAY KT...I am so excited for you, within no time you will be meeting your little man...he took his sweet time in coming!! These boys...they love to make us ladies wait. PS...get the epidural as soon as things become even remotely close to crazy, that is my best advice, haha.

MTJ..I hope you''re holding your nugget by now as well!!

It''s such a busy time around here, a few straight weeks of nonstop BABIES!

On that note I need to pump and nap. Can''t wait to hear more news!

my boobs hurt. That is all, carry on.

Good luck KT! You''ll be holding your little guy soon.

Hope it all goes smoothly KT!

Here''s my belated BPF contribution. I got home well after dark yesterday and thought I should wait for daylight to take a photo. Then ended up in the new bathroom with the lights on to get a shot, because natural light near a mirror would give me one bright band across the belly, and the rest of me was totally in the dark.

I hit 36 weeks yesterday - never could have dreamed I''d make it this far. Squirmy in there has been going wild with her feet in my ribs the last couple days. She''s still on her 30-35th percentile growth curve, even though I actually have gone down about 1/2 a pound over the last 4 weeks. Still head down, and her head is so low that they can''t get good measurements on it any more.

Things have been crazy busy with packing and moving and unpacking, and me getting far more annoyed than I should about stuff with the basement reno. I don''t get why they can''t centre the ceiling potlight in the bathroom the way it was before, but they claim stuff in the very low ceiling was in the way and wouldn''t allow that placement of the fixture. Since I''m a perfectionist and am driven crazy by things that aren''t level, properly lined up or symmetrical, it''s really pissing me off. Just like the not-equidistant-from-the-sidewalls of DH''s built-in-an-under-stair-nook desk potlights. And the wavy ceiling above his desk. I couldn''t live with it, personally, but he says he''s ok to leave it the way it is.

I think I''d better get to bed now though. Still have laundry to fold and put away before I can crawl between the sheets, sadly. Hope you''re all doing well!

Just a quick stop to say no update yet from KT.......the plan was to ramp up induction this morning at 7am est, but so far no delivery.

Will be back as SOON as I hear anything.

I just heard from KT; she''s progressing well.

She began on pitocin at 4:45 am with only a light pain med (not epi). At 8:15, she was only 2cm (up from 1cm when she went in yesterday afternoon), so her doctor broke her water. Contrax ramped up to 1-2 min apart without much break, so epi finally was on board around 9 a.m.

As of right now, she''s 100% effaced and 5cm dilated, and is getting some rest in between contrax. They''re going to check her again around 3pm to see how she''s progressing, but we do expect Jake to make his entrance later today.

Will keep you all posted as I hear more.

Yay mtjoya, congrats! I agree with Mara, you sound so content with how things went - I can''t wait to hear your story and see your little angel!

Oddly enough, I AM! With two very close friends due on the same date, it's been a WILD ride. LOL

So, I'm the one posting the updates, pacing around and waiting to spark up the celebratory cigar! LMAO! I'm thrilled and honored that my dear friends are indulgent enough to let me live vicariously through them......AND spare me LABOR! LOL

As of 40 minutes ago, KT was up to 8cm, so should hopefully be really soon now!

Thanks for the updates! I wish I had someone to do this when I was in labor!

Congrats to baby Jacqueline!
