Hey Amguy -

I just wanted to check in to see how things are coming along for you on the cutting front. Are you making any jewelry projects yet?

I have auctioned off 3 pieces now for Pet Pardon - I''m so excited! We were able to assist 3 special needs animals get out of shelters that euthanize and get them relocated to foster homes where they are being rehabilitated and housed indefinitely, or hopefully until they are able to find a forever home.

I am starting holiday gifts next. Do you have anything like that planned? Have you made anything like that yet?

I''m going to a showcase this Thursday for colored stones. It is mostly diamonds - chocolate, champagne, lavender, blue, pink, yellow, etc I cannot wait - they are going to have some museum quality stones... did I say I cannot wait?? I want to get naked and roll around in them!! Oh wait! Damn why does it have to be a public event?? hehe

Christmas time is coming up and i have been getting color orders from the family..seems like purple and green are the popular colors with the women in my family...probably get some zambian or uruguayan ammy rough to chop up..that is so cool what you did for pet pardon..I love dogs and would help in any way..I am impressed you took the time to do that..like i said on the other thread I am waiting for some 3000 diamond to start cutting again..goinhg to JXR on the 10th and 11th..guess who will be digging out there with me..Haywood from this forum..he just got married and him and the wife want to go play in the dirt so that should be fun..

I''m hoping to hit the dirt next year at some point. We''ve been trying to work out some time with some friends, we want to do a 2 week tour with some rockhound friends through California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and back to California. Hopefully we''ll return with a bit of goodies to play with for awhile and some goodies to make some jewelry with. I''m working with some folks to learn some goldsmithing and setting, lost wax techniques, etc. My brain is offially over loaded by what''s the right consistency of what when... I pretty much keep my visors on 24/7 - life is just safer that way. LOL
