I'm sure it was torture having to wait for it to arrive but the end result was DEFINITELY worth it!!! I love the detailing of the delicate band and the prongs are so elegant. GORGEOUS!

popcorn--That is so sweet of you to thnk of me! It doesn''t sound weird at all. I get caught up in people''s ring/diamond searches all the time and I log in just to see how people are doing.

It was hard for me to give over control to someone working on a piece of jewelry that I will wear for the rest of my life, but I am SOOOO glad I did. I think if I had tried to micromanage it I would have driven myself nuts and second guessed a lot of my choices.

And peaches! YAY! You''re finally here!!!

Hi Dani-- I''m working on more pics. My camera is horrible, so I had to borrow one to get these shots. I''m going to try to get FI to take some more *maybe* tomorrow if it''s sunny and if I can sneak back to my office and borrow the camera again!!

Ok, I''m going by memory here, but I think the depth is 65% and the table is 69%. I''m not sure about the crown height though. I will check the GIA report. The table is a little large by most standards, but the diamond isn''t glassy or dull at all. It goes to show you never know with fancies! It also got labeled as "Excellent" cut by ERD. I know it''s not a GIA grade, but it made me feel good.

I have to say again how much I LOVE the super-thin band. The setting is so delicate and graceful! The proportions of your ring are almost exactly what I was trying to describe to Leon when I requested a quote. Except you've got the trap sides whereas mine are baguettes.

One day in the future I'll be giving Leon a call... *sigh*
