I don''t know if you guys are at a stage of serious shopping yet, but thought you might be interested? It''s posted on another diamond site. I guess the poor fellow''s engagement fell through.

First of all, thanks for thinking of me, purrfectpear! That''s very sweet!

Wow, that news has inspired a few different emotions. I don''t start teaching full-time until Sept. 1st, so all the money we have saved us now has to go towards moving-in costs. I am hoping we''ll have money for it by around the end of the year, but MAN is that a gorgeous ring! I''ve got all the pictures of it (that exact one) saved in iPhoto. It also makes me feel badly that his engagement fell through, even though I really only drooled over his ring (as opposed to talked with him a bunch).

I have some idea what it would cost full price, and if it''s reduced about as much as I would expect for those circumstances, I''m thinking it probably would be in our eventual budget. Trouble is, there''s no money yet! If there was, though, I would be all over that baby. Makes me kind of sad we don''t. I don''t imagine those pop up often.
