Haven I just saw that your hairstylist did your hair at 7am?? Where did you find her (loved your hair btw)? I am struggling, because no one will do mine before the salons open at 9, which gives me roughly 30 minutes of pics with DH (the only pics we are doing other than ceremony and a few during the meal). It is really stressing me out!

Thanks in advance

(long story answer)

I was very lucky. I took my daughter to a gal who did free haircuts for locks of love. It was my daughters very first haircut and I couldn''t cut it w/out cutting it for a good cause. She was 5 already and had never had a haircut. About 9 months later I made me first appt with her for a color. Which was about 6 months before my wedding.

I had been going to the same gal for about 2 years. Loved her dearly, but she was not getting my color right and I was tired of explaining.

When my new gal heard I was getting married she offered to do my hair at my house. She gave me the option to come into the salon, or she would come over. This salon is not even open on Sundays except special bookings. She came over to my house at 8 am and did me and my 3 daughters, on a Sunday morning too!

I am not sure how you would go about finding someone, other than calling around and asking their policy on if they will open early or not for a morning wedding.

I was really lucky, i hope you are too and you find someone!

I also got lucky, in that the stylist who has been cutting my family''s hair for over 10 years offered to do my wedding for a very reasonable price. Her salon is not open on Sundays, so she came to the venue on Sunday morning as soon as we were allowed to show up (at 9 AM, 4 hours before our 1 PM wedding). There was a bit of a time crunch because one stylist had to do 5 girls, so one of the girls ended up pre-curling her hair to save time. But that was a time limitation imposed by the venue, not the stylist. Otherwise it worked out great.

I got married in town I wasn''t familiar with, so I asked the bridal shop (which was in the town of the wedding) who they recommended and would do early appointments. That''s how I found someone to do my hair at 6:15 am!
