Hey,

Did you see the Lavender Spinel that Select Gem has listed? Oh my!!!! I thought of you. The color is, in my mind, that elusive color you tracked for so long.

Why is it that nothing is available when you are looking? This happens to me all the time. Shoot, it even just happened to me when looking for months for a used car for my sixteen yo. But, sure enough, now that I finally purchased, there are cars in abundance. Dealers actually told me there was a shortage of used cars. Did you know this? Who ever heard of a shortage of used cars?

Anyway, I thought of your weeks (Months???) of postings when I saw the photo. Gotta go to work or I would post a photo. Will post it tonight if you cannot find it before then.

And boy, yes, I know what you mean about nothing being around when you're looking for it. I've had that happen w/jobs too..when I'm at a job and no intention of leaving, reading thru the want ads I see all kinds of jobs I might otherwise be interested in, but then when I'm in need of something different..nothing.

Never heard of a shortage on used cars tho! Sign of the times I guess-nobody can afford to trade in to get a new one.
