Hi RParker,
I guess when I looked at the treatment and it said "none known" that tells me that they're not sure. I would ask Gary to be sure. Is it the greatest pink tourmaline in the universe? No, but it's nice if you want an orange/baby pink stone. I don't think it's an eye popper though, and for the price, you're paying what it's worth. I would also ask Gary if it has any brown in it in other light sources. Sometimes when people say orange, or peach, it's often a nicer way of saying "brown."

I hope some other people chime in on this because it's good to get varying opinions, not just mine. Chrono has bought from Gary before, and she thinks very highly of him, so I hope she chimes in on this as well.

Gary may not take the best pictures but he is honest and upfront about his stones. Email or call him and ask specifically if the stone gets muddy or brownish in certain lights. For the asking price, the stone is fair. If willing to pay more, you''ll get a nicer looking tourmaline. This one looks to be very light in saturation.
