Can anyone help identify this stone please ?

I’ve had this for about 15 or so years sitting in my jewelry box and I’m not sure what it is it could be glass not sure , it has a beautiful cut and it looks blue sometimes and blue green at other times and I can see rainbows in it in the sunlight it’s very sparkly. But like I said I’m not sure if it’s a gemstone or just glass .

It looks like blue zircon or blue tourmaline based on your description

Uranium glass? I don't think anyone would set a gem like that...

The facets in the crown from the side view make it look like glass to me. It's a lovely color; however, I don't think it's a gem.
