Can I get an amen here........about shrinkage?

I have been quite entertained by some past posts about Shrinkage.
Before I found PS (or did it find me?) I thought I was the only one. I thought my eyes were playing tricks. Well I keep upgrading and they keep shrinking

If your stone already matches the finger in size (width, I guess) and still keeps shrinking, you are staring into the abyss

My dear jeweler keeps saying that "anything above 10 cts looks ridiculeous on a finger" - but I am talking colored stones here

I may be the only one who has the trend going the other way..

It seems like every time I put on a gemstone ring, my *finger* has shrunk in the meanwhile that it looks like the stone grew in storage!!

I don't wear a ring everyday though.. that may be why. But wouldn't you love to trade place with me??
