I might be having a ''zilla moment, but I am starting to feel sad that I will not be making a grand entrance or being announced as part of my wedding. Do you think it would be weird to be announced at our post-DW reception? Or would this be seen as an egomaniac move? (I also want our guests to know that I am remaining "Kata Mari" and not "Kata Something Else" and I see an announcement as serving double-duty).
An added issue is that being announced might not work with our timeline. We are starting our reception at 4:30 with a cocktail hour, then we are having a pub quiz for those who are interested (others can play disc golf, cornhole, Wii, or just hang out), followed by dinner, first dance and toasts, and then party hardy. FI and I are running the pub quiz, so I would need to be there by 5:30 at the latest. Does it seem awkward to say "here''s the couple, now do whatever"?
