What I do know is its 24K and diamond is 1 Carat. I asked a local pawn dealer to appraise it since I live in the middle of nowhere and we only have a pawn shop and all he would tell me is he would give me $500 cash for it pawn. Do you guys think that is anywhere close to what it is worth? To verify I don't want to pawn it just want to know worth.

I was incorrect on the gold as I found the sheet they gave me it is 14k. Here are the specs they gave me.

Without knowing the diamond specs it is impossible to guess what it is worth. You could look at eBay, Craigslist, I do now I don't, etc to get a sense of what used diamond rings are listed for. Actual prices are often negotiated down.
