Can you help me with setting ideas for small oval tanzanite?

Hi everyone,

I have a small oval tanzanite I'd like to have set into a necklace in rose gold. I have no idea what any of the specs are, though it looks to be about a half carat.



So far, I am thinking about setting it in an east-west fashion, with a small diamond halo or in something like this:

If anyone has any ideas or can recommend jewelers to work with for this project, I would greatly appreciate it.

PS I realize that the tanzanite may not be worth setting at all, but it holds great sentimental value to me.

PPS My budget is $1000, but it is flexible.

I like ovals flanked by pear diamonds. But it would not work with a wast-west setting.

Can your local jeweller order you a Stuller halo setting and get it set for you?
IDJ should be able to do the same for you.
Etsy is another place to look for affordable options.
