Can you replace stones in eternity band?

Hi,

I'm wanting to upgrade the quality of the diamonds in my 3mm basket setting eternity (platinum). Can this be done with same sized stones, or will the jeweler have to rebuild the entire ring? Thanks!

This depends on the condition of the original setting, the opinion and rate of pay of the setter who might do the work, and how refined you expect the second effort to appear.

With the aid of as laser welder, the right bench can actually turn a pig into a princess but it will take time.

My money is on a fresh start with new mounting.

Most likely start again, lest it effect the structural integrity of the ring.
