Can''t Stay Focused!

So I have finals next week and I cannot think of anything other then my wedding coming up. I really need to try and stay focused on school, it''s just not happening. I''m supposed to be studying right now, but here I am on pricescope. I also just ordered the cutest undies ever from customized girl they say "Mrs. Walker February 8,2010" on the butt. They are boy shorts and I''m wearing them underneath my wedding gown Agh see what I mean, I cannot focus!!!

I took two master''s courses this semester... what was I thinking? My heart is just not in school anymore. It almost makes me depressed to be honest so I need some dust or whatever you guys call it please! I have to get a B in both of these courses or my employer will not reimburse me. This is the last semester they are offering reimbursement so that''s another reason I took two courses, but I wish I would have only taken one!!! AHHHH!!!!!

Anyway...

good luck! i am the same way. total ADD when it comes to planning and working. i find that if i set aside 45 min to work on actual work, then spending the next 10 on wedding stuff is not so bad. rinse, and repeat.

I''m awful for trying to concentrate on revision and work. I get distracted by absolutely nothing though, so having a wedding to think about must be awful!! I try to go to the library when I really need to work, the atmosphere does wonders for me. I bring myself enough little snacks so that hunger can''t distract me, and allow myself to do an internet trawl for 10 mins every hour or so, and a quick check if I come to a natural break. Is it possible for you to try that? If not, you could take a drastic step...find yourself a computer savvy friend who will block your internet for the time you need to work. I think it''s fairly easy, so that''s one option? Unless you need to use the internet a lot. :-S

On a side-note, LOVE the pants. I''m a LIW, and waiting to be a Walker as well

Ahhh good luck! I am in the same boat - two law school finals and a paper!!!! It''s miserable trying to study and NOT think about wedding plans!

I could have written this myself too! I just started work on my B.S this term and its finals for me in two and three weeks respectively. My theory is that the ADD-ness comes from all the finals we have to take and study for! lol

omg I hear you on that one. I have lab finals coming up, one regular exam, and four other cumulative final exams.

I cannot wait for this semester to be OVER! ha. but then I''ll be studying for the MCAT all semester break. ugh. it never ends

Kas baby: Goodness! Your load is worse than mine! And here I thought mine was bad! (I''m only taking five classes, four administration and one marine biology) I hear you on the lab tests though! I took classes with labs every term the last three terms. Those were my worst tests! Hope you do well!

Much dust as I am finishing up school, and only am thinking...omg, it''s 7 months away!!! Granted, your wedding is a lot closer than mine, but I can''t imagine how I''ll be feeling when I''m wrapping up school in April!

I have this week of regular classes, one more week of regular classes, then a FULL week of finals. my last day is dec 18th.

kudos to those who are only months away from wedding day! I knew I probably couldn''t do that, so I''ve loaded credits in order to graduate a semester early

that way I''ll only have the wedding, hopefully a job, and awaiting letters from grad schools on my plate. I couldn''t imagine adding in a full class load and finals to that already full plate. I don''t know how some of you ladies do it- and I''ve even let FI take over most of the big planning!

My last day for classes this semester is December 7th... holy crap I need to get studying!!! and I''m getting married February 8th as you can see from my siggy :0) we actually leave for Jamaica February 5th and return the 15th. Woo hoo!!!

After this semester I will have 8 classes to go before I receive my MSF degree. (Master''s of Science in Finance) but with that point I''m at right now with school I don''t know if I''ll ever finish. I''m so over it!!!!

Good luck to everyone! I can''t believe how fast this year flew by. My sister just called me and she is going to be in town next Sunday! She lives in Germany and I cannot wait to see her!!! She is coming with me to my first fitting on December 15th. Yayyy horray!!!
