Hey all,

I am looking for cardstock for my DIY invites and I was wondering if any of you know good websites that I can order them from??
I would ideally love deep purple metalic cardstock at a good price.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions! :)

Not sure of any sites, but I suggest a stationery store, AC Moore or Michael''s. Do you plan to print on the cardstock? Not sure purple would work, unless it''s of a lighter shade. Also metallics tend to not hold the ink as well.

I just ordered some samples from www.invitationkitsdirect.com and I was VERY happy with them. It was $2 for a bunch of things.

ohhh, me too. thanks for asking! are you designing and printing yours yourself? i''ve designed (they are nothing fancy) mine but will probably having the printed b/c my home printer sucks but need some good quality cardstock to print on.

This place is really awesome. There is a store in NYC which I visited and can attest to the quality and multitude of possibilities they have in stock!

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I will definitely visit each site.

megumic - no I won''t be printing on the metalic paper - its sort of the outside of the invite, I plan on using a white matte paper to do my prinitng on as it will be easier.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me out :D

I used envelopperinc.com and loved them.

I made mine with cardsandpockets.com

I used cardsandpockets.com too and they were amazing!!!

also, papermojo.com and papersource.com have great papers.

Another cardsandpockets.com bride here! I did just order the pocketfolds and envelopes for my invites and used linen finish cardstock from Staples for my main invite printed materials but I was very pleased with the quality of items I got from cardsandpockets.com.

I am also a cardsandpockets bride. I am in the process right now of my DIY Pocketfold invites, but I am sooo impressed with the quality of everything from the pocketfolds and mats to the envelopes.
