We bought this for Hally who loves boxes and cardboard scratchers this weekend and OMG she gets such JOY out of it.

It is the BEST 20 bucks (we paid 19.99 in the store) we have spent. It''s a sleeping box (we didn''t take the side flaps off for her as you see in the pic--so hers is a box not a tunnel) and a scratcher... and it''s roomy PLUS it''s got catnip you can rub into it.

I''m telling you the cat is ecstatic.

So... If your cat loves boxes... to sit in, tear up, or scratch at... here''s the best thing we''ve discovered yet!

AND CHECK THIS OUT!

If I had a second bathroom... This would be my next purchase! Needs a septic and water hook up. But up to three cats can use ONE of these!!

OMG we want the cat genie SO BADLY. But I don''t think our landlord would go for it...but its definitely on our list when we get our own place.

That scratch thingy looks cool - I might have to try that out!

Ohh that scratch thing looks great! Where did you buy it? Our cats LOVE scratchy cardboard things, even their old ones.

It''s great... we bought it at a local chain pet store that I don''t recall the name of (sorry-- but I''ll check this weekend and let you know, they have a branch in SF). I know you can order it, too.

The Genie does look amazing doesn''t it!

Oooh, i''m buying that catgenie! do you think it''d work with three cats? oh to never have to change the litter boxes again!! good find gypsy

the supplies look a little expensive, but I think it''s worth it. to bad they dont sell them in stores.

My cats LOVE their scratchers (they aren''t the same kind as that one)... my one older kitty uses her scratcher INSTEAD of the furniture (good kitty) but my baby kitty uses the scratcher in ADDITION to the furniture

LOL!

The cat genie looks wonderful, the only concern I have is the water hookup... wonder how expensive that would be?

Has anyone tried any of the other self cleaning litter boxes (i.e. the Litter Maid or the like?)... they don''t have water hookups and you still have to change the "waste receptacle" about once a week.
