I just found a thread on your color change sapphire. Do you care to give me a few details? What size is the stone, and what ring size do you wear? It is a gorgeous stone, and I love the proportions. Thanks!

Awww, thanks Miscka! It''s a 1.91 ct untreated cushion cut. My RH finger size is a 5 but to get it over my large knuckles I have to have a 5.5 with a sizing bridge. The setting is by Parade Designs, one of my very favorite designers. Thanks for asking!!

Thanks!! Did the ring come with the stone already in it, or did you source it on it''s own? I am so intrigued by the color change aspect as well! I think that would be so fun.

Oh, it''s very fun to play with. I have a blacklight flashlight and when I shine it on the color change it glows absolutely ruby red. It''s also fun to watch it change colors in the differing light. Sometimes it''s so blue and then other times it''s royal purple. I got the stone seperately through my jeweler and then picked out the setting. I was originally looking at two stones, the color change and a larger ceylon blue sapphire that had the most amazing cut and color but there was just something about this stone that spoke to me more. I really kept second guessing myself on the choice until I got the ring. I''m so happy that I chose the color change.
