I''m thinking about doing a champagne and lace theme for our wedding. Any suggestions/pictures? I''m also looking for invitations as well as decorations.

Here''s an invite that I thought was pretty. It''s really a warm champagne-ivory color, but I had to take a picture of the magazine page.

I love lace and that invitation is gorgeous!
I did a quick search on ETSY and found some more pretty options by just searching "lace wedding invitation" Etsy is a great source of inspiration for invites and decorations

Treasure, I have a decorating idea for you! How about these for the reception (as centrepieces or just highlights)? I'm sure you could even DIY as long as the glue didn't melt...

I LOVE the wedding invitation! I guess I shied away from Etsy because I''ve never used them before but maybe it''s time I checked there! Fabulous idea for centerpieces! I''ll have to see how easy they are to make and if the lace melts.

etsy is awesome. you should really check it out. good luck :)

That sounds stunning, and makes me think retro elegance: Grace Kelly, Bette Davis ...

I also love Etsy. :)

These look amazing as well and the blog I found said they''re fairly easy to make. It also suggested putting them on mirrors to reflect the light. Which is fabulous because our wedding site offers us free mirrors.

They''re beautiful! Glad to hear that you found some instructions (I am in no way crafty!). The mirrors sound like a great idea.

Ditto -these are really pretty!

I did a French countryside theme, so I had champagne bottle and lavender wreath centerpieces (can''t find a picture, sorry. Imagine a round mirror with a centered bottle surrounded by tea lights and rings of lavender).

My BMs also wore champagne colored gowns and carried purple flowers.

Does anyone have any thoughts on flowers for the BMs and for me?

Their dresses are navy and the MOH has a champagne sash and peekaboo skirt and the BMs all have lilac sashes and peekaboo skirts.

I think I want some lavander roses included in my flowers.

As for the girls I was think of doing something slightly different for the MOH than for the BMs. Maybe ivory flowers with a bit of color?

I''m open to anything so please post pics if you have any ideas!

There''s a flower called Queen Anne''s Lace.. it looks like lace and would be a nice filler flower (and goes nicely with your theme).

I like this bouquet:

Also, I looked up pictures of Queen Anne''s Lace and it would be a beautiful filler flower! Thanks so much for the suggestion.
