Changing centre stone.

Hi all
First time poster looking for your expert advise.
I have a 6mm round center mossiante stone. Setting is a 4 prong. I want to change stone to a green \ Montana sapphire.
I would like either an emerald cut or oval. Is this possible in existing setting and if so which cut would be best and approx size needed.

As far as i know going from round to oval or or emerald cut is not possible in the same setting with out changing out the head or prong part of the setting, which is not possible on all rings. I bet with pictures our more senior posters would be able to help more.

Thanks Stephanie, I had to get off the forums for a while because i found myself being oddly obsessive and buying things i had no project in mind for, so i took a break. I'm happy to be back and mostly just enjoying the beauty others create
