choosing a pair of sapphires - help please

I have been looking around for a pair of round sapphires (for earrings). Which one of the following do you think is the best? If you happen to know some nicer ones with 4mm-7mm in size, I would love to hear about them. Budget is not a concern. Light blue, violet and lavender are preferred. Also, the more sparkles, the better

. Pre-set ones will be good too. Thanks for your help!

I like # 1 and # 5. I like the color and they both look very well cut.

There was a discussion on how to spot when a single gem image was rotated to make a pair.

I didn''t follow it up and can''t find it now. Is it still there?

I like the look of #5 the best. It does look like it''s one stone photographed twice so I''d ask to see the actual pair before buying.

Edward - Now you mention it, I do notice that they use the same image with some degree of rotation. I will definitely use Kismet''s advice (ask to see the stones before buying).

Kismet - Thanks for your advice! #5 seems to be the same image (rotated 180 degrees and then flipped?)

In my opinion two untreated sapphires will never look 100% identical on photo. It is impossible (except may-be a lucky 1-in-1000)

However, if they look different that does not mean they don''t match.
