I will be visiting my mother in the nursing home later. I am sure she is unaware that it is her old Easter, but I felt that someone should remember to say, "Christ has risen" to her in Slovak. In the past it would usually be someone of an older generation who was celebrating even if she was not, since she had become a Quaker. But I know that her family traditions run deep within her. There has to be some reason for her to have had children. At least we know the greeting and the response .

and i know, it bums me out that the characters rarely seem to translate correctly
