I really like the idea of multi colored confettii as it looks amazing in pictures but I can''t DIY unless it is super duper easy. So, I need suggestions. Where do I get it? What Do I put it in? And how do I not get it in my hair?

I've had this picture saved on my computer for months... I love the idea of people throwing color!!! they look to be in homemade cones... not sure where I got the pic... Looks fairly simple.

yes! This is what I need but...I''m litterally a dunce with DIY. All my stuff looks like crapola. So, I need help. And I''d like it to be fairly inexpensive. Thanks for the photo!!!

What about bubbles ... no clean up!

Multicolor confetti probably isn't expensive to buy.

But you can probably make it with the right kind of paper shredder and colored tissue paper?

They also have colored bubbles these days that don't stain the dress.

OOooo... you could just get colorful paper, in the colors you want and start hole punching them.... empty the hole punches into the cones... make it a party, call all your friends pop in a movie, have some drinks and punch away... I bet you could get it done in 2 hours.

wow, those are some great ideas! Ok...lots of crafty looking to do. I love the whole punch idea. I''m not a huge bubble fan but colored bubbles sound cool too!

I'm pretty sure this is from iwannaprettyone's wedding so hopefully she can chime in and let you know where she got her confetti.

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

also, you can buy fairly inexpensive shape punches, there''s always a 40% off coupon to michaels... so you could do circles and say a butterfly, heart, clover, pumpkin... etc...

Where do I find that coupon?

No way to keep it out of your hair. Also, check with your venue to make sure they allow it. A lot don''t, because of the cleanup.

If your venue doesn''t allow it, see if they allow the dissolving kind:

Our church wouldn''t allow anything like that so we used bird seed in handmade satin rosebuds. Just a thought....

Now this is what I was looking for. They will allow anything as long as we clean it up. My aunt offered to do so.

I love the idea of throwing confetti and will likely do the same thing at my wedding. I saw this in a bridal magazine. It''s biodegradable, so no clean up necessary.

Em - Are you interested in tossing rose petals, light colored ones, of course, at all?

Yeah, a lot of places won''t let you have confetti as it''s messy and it can be really damaging to birds when they eat it (they are attracted by the bright colours).

Have you thought of rose petals - either fresh or freeze dried?
