Color combo /pattern opinions?

A while back I got this little color zoned spinel

And got some melee I thought would accent the colors

with @ZestfullyBling ‘s blessing (thank you!) I think something very close to her gorgeous tourm/spess ring would look great

but also think a scattered cobblestone of the melee would do well. Or maybe add a third color/size for that - what color?
Or group the cobblestone in opposite colors of the zoning of the center?

Looking at the stones together doesn’t help me decide if a pattern with the melee or a scattering compliments or subdues the center stones color zoning? I’d like to enhance it.

First of all, what a lovely spinel!

I think a cobblestone irl would be challenging for the setter to execute, unless they have the same vision as you. I also think the pattern you created in the last photo is lovely.

If you were to get a third melee, I think a blue-green would look lovely. You can get turquoise zircon or Mozambique paraiba tourmaline melee if that comes back to Yvonne's Etsy shop.

I've gone ahead and taken screenshots of the melee stones in talking about.
