color question

Hi! I posted this in rocky talk but didnt get a reply so i will try here.

well I am thinking of upgrading my stone to be more proportional to the new tacori setting I am getting.

The new setting is the Rosebud with a thicker band of G color pave set stones.
The two side stones are G color, .33 carats each,about 4mm diameter.

I want to get a 1.5 RB ideal cut for the center of this platinum setting.

SO, do you think an I color center at that size will be tooooo much of a difference between the center and sides and also the pave set stones? I currently have an H and it looked fine but was also smaller at 1.07 ct and it was also ideal cut.

Also, the diamond will be set high and visible on both sides. Will an ideal cut I stone show color on top and on the sides? I really never noticed any color in my H stone. I dont have the setting right now to compare to, Tacori has it.

I''m leary of an I color, but was thinking of ways to try and cut costs.

I think chances are, it''ll look fine if it''s an ideal cut I. There is a slight chance that from the side/profile you might notice warmth but it depends how sensitive you are about that sort of thing.
