Just wanted to post about the great experience I have had with this company/site:

Colorado Gem

I ordered a few amethysts to view and they should arrive next week...

Jack (the owner) is so very friendly and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time educating me on amethysts.
Four Peaks, Brazilian, Nigerian, etc...

There are some beautiful amethysts on his site!

Jack is sending me a few stones to choose from -- I know there are some Four Peaks, Brazilian, Nigerian and an Afghani.
I will try to snap shots when I receive them next week... They are all so beautiful. I''m looking for that "siberian" color....

here''s a pic of the stones that are on their way... in case there are any amethyst lovers out there....

3rd from the left is really red on my monitor: any idea where is that one from?

As soon as I saw the red one (3rd from the left), I had an inkling it might be the 4 Peaks material. I can''t wait to see how true to colour it is when you receive it.
