Go on, fess up, who purchased the medium blue Asscher cut lab Sapphire as seen in Gary's latest mail drop? It is lovely!!!
DK
Wow that blue is electric. LOVE. BLUElicious.
I hope it is everything you want it to be @dk168 !
Omg!! That's going to be gorgeous!!!
Well pictures are not amazing but it shows a couple of the different shades my accident stone can be. I ordered what was meant to be the very light 8mm Arctic blue from Stag and Finch. Well it turned out my stone ended up being a between colour. It is closer to the mid range periwinkle blue that they sell. I decided to just take it anyway because I still liked the colour even though it wasn't what I had expected!
Also just a note. In one of the pictures I was wearing a very very hot pink t shirt. You can see it in the picture lmao.
Love the color!

This is so gorgeous! Amazing color, and beautiful setting!
I am in the middle of a project setting a peach sapphire from S&F, cut in the storm light pattern. I’m already thinking about my next project. I love these blues, but think I would like the lab alexandrite in either the hanami cut, or the squatty teardrop pear cut. Too many choices!!
I love your ring!
Oh man! I can't wait to see how your project ends up turning out! Are they setting it or someone else? I love those squatty little pears too!
And thank you! I love both! Though admittedly at a later date I may make them re-shank completely, separate the baguettes, and make a new head and reattach because it was an estate peice. I can tell whoever originally contructed it attached them a little bit crooked. But I really loved that i could for once put my money where my mouth was and give a setting a home that already existed in the world
Ooooh this is nice!
Beautiful blue! I have been following closely!! When do you get the stone into your hot little hands? I am super keen for more photos!! It looks amazing
