All the “medium” cut pieces I saw looked like meh peridot. Even the “dark” cut pieces in large sizes still are underwhelming
 
Just wanted to share my blue spinel I got today from Gene. It's the perfect color! It looks slightly green in the photos (probably reflecting my mostly green phone case) it is a very nice blue in person.

Thank you! I was extraordinarily pleased with them and it was nerve wracking as I had no real experience with moissy. Cut is king! I love them and I will definitely be adding more to my collection.

These arrived today. Paraiba YAG and pink lab sapphire, both rings from Aquamarise. The YAG is stunning. Nothing like paraiba of course but the color and scintilation is gorgeous.

I forgot about this thread, here is my lab trillion Ruby in a ring made with Rhodium-plated Silver and Moissy. I can't remember where I got the stone, sorry!

I have always liked this setting, and am very pleased with this ring.

Oh? Your actual stone was cut months ago wasn't it? Does the vendor hang on to the stone until you're ready to get it set?

Yup, Gary is holding the finished stones for me, as shipping and insurance charges are not favourable due to Covid.
