Adding to my blue spinel fettish . A 2.8 carat Tanzanian blue spinel I had for ages in a gem box. It’s medium tone and I love the luster, scintillation and sparkle that photos fail miserably in showcasing.

Oh man, what money I have is pretty new so that’s a hella compliment I’m not trying to be something I am not, but I grew up as the ‘parents were doing fine but NOT the rich kid‘ in the horse world aka a working student who rode the rich people’s horses when they were out of town.

I learned a lot of lessons. Buy as high a quality as you can and you’re half way there. Layering is a old money art form because their big ole piles are drafty as hell, a Hermés bridles de gala scarf on your head is a ticket into so many worlds, and when in doubt, stare down your nose whilst drinking your gin and tonic when you’re asked if you know Bitsy Monteynoseybottom...

I just received my new 3.5ct purple spinel ring. Set in RG with metal milgrain halo and small diamonds on the side. Surprisingly, the colour of the stone and RG goes well together. Stone and customised setting by Instagram seller thegemcollector

My Rhodalite garnet and diamond Art Deco style 18k WG rind. Love this piece. So comfortable to wear to boot.

It’s a cab on top, faceted on the bottom. Can’t recall the name of that cut type

My unheated Ceylon 5.05 sapphire - includes before pics with skinny prongs I had them very slightly thickened and lengthened; I hardly notice the change.

my engagement ring, I can’t remember the specs but it is Richard Krementz Gemstones in 18k and platinum diamond and tourmaline with hidden pink sapphires on the sides. I have never regretted having a colored gem as my engagement ring.
