Colored Stone E-rings/Eyecandy

This is how the two bands fit into the setting. The bands have ~2.7ct total with the stones in that are F in color, VS in quality. The designers idea is the ring is a vine holding a “flower”. The bands are the leafs to the vine.

Thank you. The more I learn about Emeralds the more I love them. I realize they’re softer on the “hardness” scale compared to other stones, and also are prone to having more inclusions. I spent a week in Sedona, AZ after getting engaged and was able to hike to a couple of the Energy Vortex spots there. My trail guide noticed my Emerald and pointed out that the color of the Heart Chakra is Green. (Which gave me chills). The other thing I’ve come to love about the stone is the imperfections…. I feel I can relate to them. I want to be sparkly and beautiful on the outside… but if you look closely there are plenty of inclusions that make me as unique as my Emerald.

Here is the solitaire setting. It’s by Ferrucci & Co. who is based in NY.

I mostly wear just the solitaire without the other Diamond bands. My wedding band is pretty thin and simple by David Yurman… so I wear that with it. I pull out the bling for special occasions.

My husband gave me the best surprise today and I thought I'd share this moment of happiness here!!!

I've been wanting a large carat sapphire brooch for ages but never really had sufficient budget for an earth-mined version. So my husband did his research and ordered a labgrown version for me, 23ct labgrown sapphire with 10ct labgrown diamonds on the side (D-E, VVS), set in 18k gold.

How do you all like it? I'm thinking of making it attachable to my necklace as well

I bought this David Klas s piece from PS’er @Teddie. She had Gary at Finewater Gems cut the lab alexandrite and mint sapphires and DK made the setting. Platinum and in my size. I am stoked she decided to part ways with it always fun to try to catch the color change with alexandrite.

This was my late mom’s most prized possession. It was a present from my dad—perhaps a late push present if there was such a thing back then. They got a loose imperial jade unheated from a vendor from Burma and my mom asked my dad to set it with with a halo of diamonds. Well, my dad was a kind of guy whose motto was go big or go home. So she got a ring with 2 rows of halo. Lol. I never worn this ring although it’s been in my collection for a number of years. Thought I’d share this here since she never gets to go out anymore.
