My three Nigerian rubellites. The best picture so far. 4.5, 2.5 and 1.5 carats. No color shift. Photo taken in a combination of natural and artificial light.

Sorry for the smudges on the gem box. The large round stone has silk and is translucent. The other two are transparent. Secondary lavender color which causes blue flashes.

Same picture above but further away. They lost a little color in this shrunken photo.

Sorry for the grainy photo. My two latest acquisitions A violet blue cushion spinel of around 2.2 carats, and a AIGS certified padaparadcha colored spinel (they deemed the color "orangey pink") of 1.5 carats. The pad colored spinel has pink UV fluor. Photo taken in artificial lighting.
