2.2 ct AIGS certified pinkish-orange Tanzanian spinel with UV fluor.
2.1 ct tsavorite

Up close against the window as sunlight was pouring in. You can see the fluor the spinel has.

Thank you Blithsome. The spinel goes more orange indoors. It's under a glass gem box top in this photo (where the smudges are from).

The above tsavorite is 8x7x5 (yes, all whole numbers). No window. I''m thinking the tsavorite dimensions you have might show a window since they''re so much longer and wider than mine, but the same depth.
