Colored Stone E-rings/Eyecandy

Is there a thread on the padparadcha ring?

Stunning!

My 1.5 ct black/grey and/or extremely included diamond.

20180709_125145.jpg 20180709_124908.jpg

I've been reluctant to share this one because everyone has perfect stones (I know the diamond boards would hate this) and this one is objectively one million percent imperfect. But I love it so much and it represents everything I love about geology, and it is my engagement stone. I just reset the stone from its original high open 4-prong solitaire into this new home. I'm super excited to have a setting that I love and that secures the stone so much better.

Your stone is beautiful! Like you, I am crazy about the geology and science of gems - so this diamond is awesome to me!!! Love it!!!

Love what you love!!!

Amazing detail work on the pad! Best wishes on your engagement. Miss Sarah that ring has so much meaning for you, I'm confident it gives you pleasure every time you look at it.=)2

Thought I’d post my latest project.

Inexpensive little imperial topaz cabochon in a bling bling setting. The heavy inclusions in the stone make it glow and sparkle in a really fun way.

Had this made to match a simple pair of earrings.

I've never cared for topaz or citrine even though it's my birthstone, but those are really lovely. You just changed my mind. Congrats on your lovely set.

As posted in another thread, a 3.68 ct blue Sapphire cut by Jeff Davies. The setting may not be the most original design, but I'm very very happy with it. =)2

Got a blue heart shaped sapphire and have it set at a local jeweler for our first wedding anniversary. Loving every bit about it!

Wearing my trillion Tanzanite with a small melee in YG today. I joking call this my ‘trashy’ tanzanite. But I love the color and the pleochroic flashes it gives off are lively & lovely. Found it at a jewelry pawn shop auction, has been verified since.

There’s such fine elegant jewelry in this thread, I’m almost embarrassed to post my gawdy opal ring, just had it set, but what the heck. In sunshine and one photo at the supermarket (bored shopping, lol!)

Your opal is GORGEOUS.
What are the surrounding stones? Are they multi-color?

Thank you! I’m almost embarrassed to admit what they are, but they are pink, yellow, and white stones in various diameters. Let’s just say it’s a very well made ring for what it is. I had the opal a long time, and I had the setting, and thought, hmmm, nice look. I like opals with colorful halos. It’s my rainbow sherbet and lemonade ring. The opal is natural in color and It’s Ethiopian and very blue with orange undertones. Here’s a closer look.
