My comic book artist fiance has finally made his long-awaited contribution to wedding planning!

This is just amazing. I am so in love with it, and know your guests will get the biggest kick out of it. How talented is he!?! You must be so proud! And such a cute/great story!!!


So my sister and her FI are OBSESSED with comics. They go to the conventions, have an entire room in their home dedicated to their comic stuff, and she has 2 comic tattoos. How in the world could I commission him to do something small for them as a surprise gift? Or even have them commission him to do something for the STD/Invite/Something wedding related? Would that be possible at all??? She would just DIE of excitement.

Thanks, Charbie! I asked him and he said he isn't accepting any commissions at the moment. Our wedding is the week after yours, and because he draws one book, writes another, & is publishing a web comic, his plate's a little full at the moment (gotta get ahead since the week before the wedding will be so busy & the honeymoon is immediately following). However, he uses Cadence Comic Art as an art dealer, as do many of his friends. They sell the art for comic books & accept commissions through them. If you know a comic that they like you might be able to get a page from one of the books or order a commission from that artist. Hope that will work!

Gotcha. Well, their wedding isn''t for quite some time...meaning they have been engaged for almost a year, and still no date i might still bug ya'' about it in a few months! But in the mean time, thank you for the idea, and I am going to check into Cadence Comic Art- you''ve sparked an idea in my mind for them, and I really hope I can surprise them!!!
