Hello! I''m a new poster, but I''ve been lurking around Pricescope for quite a few months. I truly enjoy reading everyone''s stories, and the copious amount of diamond buying information is great, too. Thank you!

A little about me: My boyfriend and I have been together for 7-1/2 years. You can imagine how antsy I get as one-by-one we watch our friends marry and become parents, but I understand that the time just isn''t yet right for us. Fortunately, too, my sweetie understands my LIWitis, and the fact that he initiates wedding planning talk has been very comforting (the man has very clear ideas about location, food, and even wedding colors

...good thing we agree on these points).

Well, that''s all for now. I look forward to sharing stories with all of you...

I''ve been with my FF for quite a long time too. It hasn''t happened for us for the same reasons it hasn''t happened yet for you. Timing wasn''t right! Falling in love young and trying to go to college and get careers on track will do that to a couple! But it will happen when the time is right (thankfully!) We are ALMOST there.

Are you expecting a proposal soon or are you uncertain of when it will happen? I ask this because you said the time isn''t "yet right." Glad to see your FF is talking wedding talk with you! Maybe that time is in the very near future...

goodness, i can''t imagine how anxious i would be if i had to wait 7-1/2 years! kudos to you! FF and i have been together for only 3 years and i''m always bouncing off the walls like "when is it gonna happen?!". then again, we''ve been friends for 8 years so i feel like it''s been longer than 3.

that''s so awesome that he''s into wedding planning! i think the wedding day seems more special when both the bride and groom and equal say about the details. anyway, you definitely should join the list! i''ve found that as long as you''re on the way there, it doesn''t matter how far into the future it''ll happen. hopefully soon for you! i''m sending some *DUST* your way...engagement AND employment kind.
