comments on SMTB etiquette

Hi yall!

I have noticed that a few members personally thank each commenter on threads posted here. Is it sufficient to "like" the comments as a thank you? I am relatively new here and I would love the thank each person personally but I am afraid I don't have the time. Can someone please guide me in etiquette?

Either way is fine - it is really just up to you!

I think it's fine either way - if you WANT to thank each poster and just don't know how, you go down through the thread clicking the "+quote" button, then when you go to Post Reply, to the bottom left of the emoji's is a "Insert Quotes" button. Once you click it, click "Quote These Messages" and ALL posts you've clicked "+quote" on will appear in your reply. Then you can go below each quote and insert your response.

It's absolutely not required for polite etiquette
We only got the like function recently with the new format

IMO, thank yous are optional, and not thanking is not rude. When I make a positive comment about someone's piece, I don't expect to be thanked. Lol

If someone offers helpful info or advice, that may warrant a thanking, IMO.

Do whatever feels right to you!

I had no idea how to get single quotes or multiple quotes posted in a single thread, thank you for the tutorial dazzlerazzle! I just did it with this post for the first time!
