My FI tried on and really liked a wedding band designed by Frederick Goldman. The price we were given was more than what we''d like and I''d like to see if we can do better. The only problem is, I can''t find the designer''s website anywhere and I want to match the style number with a picture. The style number for the ring is 118087P6-G. Here''s a picture that I found -- it''s similar in style but it''s not the same #. The ring that my FI tried on was platinum but we''d consider white gold as well. Anyone up for a little detective work?

Hey Zoe, my DH''s ring is a Frederick Goldman titanium ring, and I got it online at Steve Hydock jewelry (website). I didn''t see that particular ring listed, but they may be able to order it since you do have the style number. Might be worth a shot, good luck!

Thanks for the link Selkie! I just e-mailed Whiteflash to see if they could give me a quote for that style (I attached the same picture as the one I posted). I''m still hoping to find a picture of the exact ring, just to make sure there''s no other detail I''m forgetting about.

Speaking of titanium, would he be interested in something like this? Amazon.com.

Speaking of titanium...Bruce Boone also makes a ring just like that called the "scoop". My DH as well as Mara's husband and a few others have rings from Bruce and he is just FANTASTIC to deal with. And of course you can't beat the $95 price tag especially since it includes engraving and any special finishes!

Thanks for the suggestions! I''ll forward these to my FI and see what he says.
