I want my dress NOW.

I just want to prace around the apartment with it on. I want to take it in to get altered so that it can recognize it''s true potential. I want to WEAR THE DRESS. I want to bond with it.

I''m cracked. I know. I''ve got the Rivini still in my closet, and can''t touch it as I''m STILL hoping to sell it. (Reminder to self, you won''t sell the thing until you POST IT on preownedweddingdresses.com GET ON THAT LAYLA)

But I want my dress. It''s not going to be here till June. And I miss it. I''m wanting to go to the shop and visit it. Crazy. crazy. crazy.

Well, at least I know it''s the one, right?

You are not crazy. I had a similar feeling yesterday. :)

My dress has been living with me since October and I''ve only been able to put it on 3 or 4 times since then. Yesterday I had my MOH put me in it to make sure a bra I bought worked with the dress. My FI and her FI were both home, so I could only sit in our office and be in it. I *can''t* put it on by myself, which is very frustrating, and every time I have put it on it''s only for a hair check or some other purpose and then I have to get out of it again. I want just one weekend where I can SIT around in it and...as you said...prance around the apartment! But...well...it''s not going to happen right now. Sigh. I get it altered next weekend, so hopefully that cures my wanting to be in it all the time urges!

Oh, goodness, Gypsy! I was just going through this same exact thing!!!

I feel like my situation is even worse since mine also won''t be in until June, but my wedding is in July and I am sooo worried that either it won''t fit right, it won''t come in time, or some other freakish scenario that could go wrong and I am just about losing my mind!

I really don''t know what to do...I feel like I should have a back-up plan in case this one doesn''t work out, but I don''t really know how to do that, either! I just really want the dress in my hands, fitted correctly and ready to carry on that plane to Maui with me in mid-July.

(I can''t say that there wouldn''t be any prancing around the bedroom once it gets here, either, but that''s not my main focus right now!!!)

Hang in there, hun!

I''m sure I''ll be feeling the same way! In fact, I can''t wait to start trying dresses on. I''m not usually a girly girl. I think I only wear one skirt and I only get dressy once or twice a year, max. But for some reason I am dying to have a beautiful, girly wedding dress...

Confession: every time I read BWW I want to get my wedding gown out and prance around the house in it. Too bad it doesn''t fit right now, hehee.

Seriously, though, that''s what has always kept me from selling it...it''s one of the best fitting and most figure-flattering garments I''ve ever worn in my life and I absolutely loved wearing it. And it was surprisingly comfortable...someday I would love to have a gals-only "let''s wear our wedding gowns" party. Ok, enough with my personal secrets. ROFL.

Okay. So I can see this as a future PS GTG theme party type event. Brides of PS! Monnie, do you have any pics to share? I''ve been meaning to ask for a while.

OMG...I would love to share all the pics of my wedding, and unfortunately it was back in 2003 when we didn''t have a digital camera and every wedding pic I have is a hard copy so I''d have to scan them on hubby''s computer, upload them to my laptop, resize them, etc. I know I can do it, it''s just a matter of getting it done and actually having someone interested nowadays in seeing them. (I know, I know, YOU are!) I''m so bad about getting that sort of thing tackled, sorry. I know I posted my dress and myself in it about a million years ago in a "show me your dress" thread, so pics of me in my gown DO exist here. It would probably take so much effort and search-i-ness that you would become frustrated and hate me for even bringing this up, though. Anywho...I will try to make another attempt at uploading some wedding shots so you all can see my bridal glory one day this week, I have wanted to do so anyway because I''ve never shared our wedding pics online with anyone, including relatives. Yeesh, I am somewhat of a horrible person!

PS, My gown was a Mon Cheri, circa 2003, ivory, empire waist/a-line, plus detachable train. I did not wear a veil. I wore a tiara and 1.5 inch dangly earrings by Monet purchased from a department store called Von Maur. Paid less than $1,000 for the gown and now it''s hanging in my entryway closet (which actually has a bar high enough so it doesn''t drag the ground), and I just want to wear it again!!! Zeee-owww!

I really would love to do it, and several friends of mine have expressed interest. Now we only have to find the right timing...get rid of the hubbies, the kids, the pets....and party! LOL!

LOL....I would recommend prancing around if there is a weekend where your FI isn''t around.

I have to confess - I did sashay and prance around my house this past weekend. FI was out of town and it''s just sitting in the guest bedroom closet. I say that I wore it because I just got my shoes and needed to make sure that they were tall enough so that I didn''t need the dress hemmed, but I just really wanted to wear it. I have had my dress since December and my wedding isn''t until November! It''s driving me nuts!

Haha Gypsy. I warned my consultant at the bridal shop that I may call her just so I can go in to revisit my dress. I''m having major withdrawal.

Well it''s definitely the right dress if you''re thinking about it this much! I cannot wait to go dress shopping in the summer! You''ve made me so excited!

sooooo funny...I''ve been feeling that same feeling myself, lately.

You guys, seriously! How could you all have possibly known!

I have TWO wedding gowns that I wore, one for my wedding, and one for my TTD session, and I don''t know if it was because I didn''t get a long time to own the first one before the wedding, but I put it on, probably monthly, and the TTD dress I''ve put on twice since the TTD shoot.

I''m so embarrassed to admit this, as my husband has kindly offered our guest room to a friend, and he has been staying with us for the past 4 weeks, but my dresses are IN THAT CLOSET and it''s driving me insane to not be able to put one of them on at least once this month.

I told DH I would sell the TTD dress, but I can''t seem to part with either of them. What is wrong with me?
