Today is her 19 year anniversary!

In a world of few months or years marriages, I am always awed by couples who make it for the long-term! Our neighbors just celebrated their SIXTY-FIRST anniversary last week. Amazing!

Oh for heavens sakes, you guys are too sweet. Nan sent me the most gorgeous flowers today. They are pink roses and some other flowers mixed in. She said the arrangement was called pink sapphire, so they had my name on it. Hubby and I are going to a very nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Mara you are so sweet, thanks!!!!!

IMO, 19 is a great milestone (I''m biased -- we just celebrated 19 last week

). I think there are several of us celebrating the big 20 next year. You, me, Nan, and a couple of others if I remember correctly. I don''t know about you, but I''m already working on what kind of new bauble I would like for 20.

Happy Anniversary Lisa! It truly is an accomplishment in this day and age when it seems like so many take marriage commitments as "temporary" things. It is so nice to see those who have made it work, and have done so happily. DH and I are celebrating our 2nd anniversary at the end of this month...I hope we follow in your footsteps!!!
