Continued...ring shopping

AWWWWWW!!!!

I FOUND IT! I found my ring! Yes, I cannot believe it! If you read my previous ring shopping post...you will know we were supposed to go on Sunday. Well that got pushed back to last night because we had a family dinner on Sunday etc. SOOOOO...

Last night, he ended up working later then planned. We meet at the store (he is still in work clothes, jeans with mud on the bottom...but I didn''t care..he couldn''t help it!) We were given a tour of the store and as we rounded the engagement ring counter I gasped because I saw the Tacori ring I had fallen in love with a long time ago. Immediately I tried it on to find that I still truly loved it! So we continued looking and I tried on a ring that I never thought I would like and sure enough...I LOVED IT!!!! I found my RING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sooo excited I cant stop smiling! My FF was equally excited....he was talking about it just as much as I was....and talking about future living situations etc. He hasn''t wanted to live together until after we are engaged, so now he is mentioning when our leases are up etc. its SOO FUN! Now is the wait Its much more tolerable with a ring in mind

If I read that right there were two rings... the original Tacori then a second one you loved that you thought you wouldn't like.

So which one is "THE RING"? Could you post a pic of it?

SORRY!

I didnt want to make the post too long so I cut out a few important details oops!

After trying on the ring I NEVER THOUGHT I would like...I FELL IN LOVE!!! SO the tacori ring is out (but still beautiful of course!). Actually FF and I have decided we want the actual ring to be a surprise in some way....sooo...here are the possibilities

#1 buying THE RING but surprising me with the center stone size/clarity etc (so i wouldn''t know anything about the solitare)

#2 I did pick out a second ring with a TON of similarities to my dream ring...so that he could choose from two and surprise me. But, He would surprise me by getting the ring custom made and combining my favorite parts of both rings.

So to re-cap...I fell in love with one ring specifically, but...found a 2nd ring with a similar look that is beautiful. He is going to surprise me one way or another
