I'm born and bred American, but I can only visualize sizes less that 1" as millimeter sizes. I hate ebay listings that say a mounting has an opening of 1/4"! :confused:

More food for thought

Dime =17mm or 11/16 of a Inch
Penney = 19mm or 3/4 of a inch
Nickel = 21mm or 7/8 of a Inch
Quarter = 24mm or 15/16 very close to 1 Inch

works well, davi.

Off-tangent, but I think than in order to convert from Fahrenheit to Celcius, you have to extract 32, then take 5/9. At least that is how I use to do it. Works well at above-zero temperatures, but not below.

For those traveling to Europe, it is easier to extract 30, divide by half and then add approximately 1. You'll end up pretty close.

And: it is most important not to forget how to convert from 110 to 220. ;) For this, buy a standart converter at an airport (with several adapters). :lol: :lol:
