Converting this brooch to a pendant

Thoughts? I ask bc I kind of like where the bar sits. Reminds me of Mockingjay movie brooch. So should I keep as brooch and add bail but leave bar? Or remove bar?

That is gorgeous! I would definitely vote to leave the bar so you have the option to wear as a brooch.

it looks fantastic as a pendant but a brooch gives you another option

IMHO, the bar should go.

Of the nicer convertible brooch-pendant in similar design that I have seen, the bar is curved around the circle and not visible when worn as a pendant. Some have detachable bar.

I would remove it . I am the odd man out. To me with the bar there it looks like a brooch around your neck rather than a definite pendant. Also idk but I had something similar and it irritated my skin so I removed the bar. BUT I also knew that I would never wear it as a pin. So YMMV

thats a great idea
but i would be afraid if it was me, i might loose the bar
