That is kind of cool, but $30 for forms? Hmm... Do you still have to go in person to the SS office or can you just mail them in? Anybody know?

Social Security you can mail in now (at least in my state of California). You have to go into get a new drivers license though. The site was helpful to me if only to fill in all the forms and tell me where to mail them. Everything gets so confusing when trying to change your name!

If I can just mail in the SS form, it might be worth it. I notice they have a "money-back guarantee" so it''s probably worth a shot. Are you filling out the paperwork before your wedding?

Yeah, it''s all filled out and ready to go. Going to send everything out once we get back from the honeymoon. I have the worst printing ever!! It was nice just to plug in the info and print out the forms with the info typed in for me.

Not yet, but I''m still 4 months out. It does sound like a good thing to do when I want to do something weddingy but don''t have anything specific to do.

I don''t think you need to buy forms. It was very easy to do. The hardest thing to do was to change my FF airline miles (go figure). I had to fax them a copy of the ML. Oh and standing in line is a PITA but it is worth it in the end.

i think i got my ss form online (ss website), filled it out and mailed it in.
not sure i'd pay for these forms. i did it the ole fashion way and nothing was difficult nor time consuming.
