This looks like slag glass. Just like your clear piece in the other thread.

my sis in law has a large piece of volcanic glass in here garden
its a great talking pint
its hard to tell from the photo how big the OP's 'stone' is but id be inclined to mount it on a nice piece of timber for display purposes (or a paper weight)
its very pretty even without the light
