Well, I have a timeline finally! Yay! It''s not as short as I had hoped but it is definitely a relief to see the end in sight..... My FF said he would have my e- ring by my next birthday which, is in May 10 months from now....

Here''s to 10 months of waiting for me...I''m unfortunately the most impatient person in the entire world but, in the end, I know it will be worth it!

Congratulations! I had "the talk" about a month or so ago with my guy, and I''m looking at a similar timeline too! I knew it would happen "some day," but it was nice to know that "some day" didn''t'' mean years and years from now (which might have been fine in my 20''s, but being in my 30''s and wanting a family...).

blondebunny: Don''t worry...no need to be confused.... I guess I had a poor choice of lingo to start this thread (since I am fairly a noob on here...lol) But I am still going through with "the plan" on actually proposing first. So in actuality I will be engaged without an e-ring for me until my next birthday....He is still all about getting a ring for me too however, he isn''t much of a planner when it comes to special event things so, I have decided to do the actual legwork on initiating the engagement and when my bling arrives, he can do whatever he feels like.... I personally don''t want a ton of fanfare since I''m not a hugely public person....But it''s all good...

So, lemme just re-phrase this thread by saying I will have my very own e-ring by my next birthday not be engaged by my next birthday...either way, it''s still exciting....
