Hi Ladies,

I have been M.I.A for the past couple of months but am now starting to pick up momentum with the wedding plans, so far we have organised:
- Reception
- Ceremony
- Celebrant
- Photographer
- Jazz Band
- Wedding dress

.. Next stop is the bridesmaid dresses. I saw some gorgeous cream/ivory dresses the other week and would love to know or see how people have worked with white/cream as their wedding colour, especially in regards to flowers.. do I stay completely neutral or splash some color?

Any advice/pictures would be greatly appreciated

My bridesmaids wore cream dresses and the guys wore khaki tuxes. I wanted all the color to be in the flowers so that they really popped. Here is a picture, hope it helps :)

Going crazy: I love the colours in the flowers again the dresses!! looks amazing!!

wow-those flowers really do pop! looks lovely.

Dannielle-You might get a similar effect with pale silvery or taupe dresses if you wanted a little more contrast, but the ivory is really fab!

My girls wore taupe; they are prob too dark for what you were thinking, but I''ll post a picture:

GoingCrazy - Those dresses are gorgeous!!! Where did you get them - what brand/etc.??

I really think that champagne color looks goregous on bridesmaids. Trying to post a pic but getting a server error...hmmm...

Here
you go! They were B2 dresses in Vanilla. We ordered them in tea-length and had them all hemmed to just below the knee. They were super flattering on everyone and really comfortable.

I still need to create a thread with a bunch of our wedding pictures. It takes me forever to resize them and block out the faces, but hopefully one day you will get to see more!

My friend was married last year and her BM''s had cream dresses. The flowers were gorgeous, shaped like little handbags!

RockofLove! That is the EXACT color I am trying to find in a bridesmaids dress! It is the hardest color to match. My wedding colors are sort of a nude/blushy tone with gold accents. Do you know who makes those gorgeous BMD''s?

Those are made by TwoBirds Bridesmaid.

They have a ton of pics on facebook, too, of real weddings.

I like the idea of flowers adding the "pop" of colour.
