Despite my thinking that it wouldnt happen so soon, it did TONIGHT!!! We went to a really super nice restaurant for dinner and he didn't propose then, so I thought, "darn, not happening tonight". We decided to go home and change before heading out to the bar tonight, and I went into the bathroom to get ready and came out to find him on one knee. He told me I was the most beautiful girl in the world (haha, yeah right but of course I was loving it lol) and that he'd never be able to be with someone else. Then he asked me to marry him. I said yes (of course) and suprisingly didnt cry too much! I think I was in shock as my first reaction when he was on his knee was "waht are you doing???" I am sooo happy to have found the perfect man for me! And I'm so glad he didnt do it in public!

Anyways, he got the stone appraised and the specs that I picked up on (havent seen the appraisal) are:

it's in a white gold lucern (4 prong) type setting with the diamond set pretty high and it came in a super cute wooden ring box! Setting was by A&K Jewelers in Stoneham, MA...they did it super fast, less than one week also! FI said that they had a huge book of settings to choose from, and they'd already flagged the ones they thought he'd like based on their prior phone convo : )

that's all I've got for now. We're having dinner with the 'rents tomorrow nght so will get my bro to take a digital pic then and will post by Sun night

the best part is that he has friends who live near the bar we went to who ended up, totally coincidentially, going to that bar as well. It was so fun to celebrate our 1st night as being engaged with some of his friends!!

I"m sooooooooooo excited, we''re thinking a Dec 8th or Dec 15th wedding! I''m in LOVE with the idea of a holiday themed wedding with dimmed lights, deep red and ivory candles on each table and pointsettas around the reception area. More ideas to come, I''m sure!

I''m still wiating on my pics--a friend came over and took some for me and said she''d email them to me since my camera''s not very good and takes yuck pics.
