Thank you for the reply ! I have been stressing / OCD'ing about this. Worst case I will return it if I see any light issues or obstruction. At first I followed the guidlines CA 34-35 and PA 40.6 - 41 and got excited when I saw the H&A on the IGI cert. At that time I was not aware of the relation on these and then noticed the where both on the steep side / not complementary.

The h&a icon on the igi report is only an icon not an actual image of the hearts and arrows for the stone.
34.1/40.6 are both on the shallow side of the normal range.
The images look good to me.
If you care about having confirmation of h&a you will need to ask for a hearts and arrow(ASET will work for arrows) images.
@DejaWiz are you seeing any crystal issues?

I like this one a lot. Looks like a good CVD as well with minimal striations.

Hi Karl.
Hello and welcome to PriceScope, Marcyc!
No issues other than a touch of CVD grayish-yellow hue.

Perfect. Yes I am aware that this was not the actual H&A picture as it was too perfect but I figured this helps validate the cut as I couldn't get any Idealscope images. : /

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts its really appreciated!

Thank you ! Yes I tried the best I could to avoid visable striations and or strains.

Thank you, Im glad I joined . Ok, good to know you all seem to think it wont be an issue.
As for the grayish/yellow hue its really sad to hear I am aware of CVD issues and tried to stay away from they grey/brown/yellow nuances but its really hard to tell with my inexperiendced eyes. Also the fact that I cant see them in person makes it really hard. At first I tried to find HPHT as I prefered this method and the fact that it doesnt have post treatment but I couldnt find the specs I wanted without a blue nuance to it or they were really expensive. Do you think this will be clearly visible with the naked eye ?
Thanks again for your time : )

I really think it will be very slight. A yellow tint or nuance would be completely natural and IMO not something to avoid. Also keep in mind that the background of the video appears to have a similar hue (minus the yellow) to the diamond, so it could be the photography environment.

Awesome ! : ) I guess I will just have to wait and see. Its already ordered but wasn't shipped yet and I was starting to doubt my purchase. Thank you @Kim N the help !

^ what @Kim N said. The hue is likely going to be so subtle that you'd never notice it in day to day environments. It will reflect way more blue of the sky than what you'll ever be able to see as grayish-yellow hue when outdoors, for example.

Ahh ok I understand, glad to hear : )
Thank you for taking the time to comment.

You're welcome

Hello me again ! : )
I have received the diamond mounted on a ring and liked the diamond but not the ring. I am in the process of returning both but keeping the diamond. Meanwhile I found this bigger stone that seems a bit too yellow even if graded E instead of F (I noticed the background is yellow also) but the specs are a little less shallow for the PA/CA. Would you think this is a better diamond ?
Thanks again for your time !

I can see some CVD graining for this one...probably not visible under normal viewing, but wanted you to be aware of that.

How do these look to you?

I really like the IGI #LG519237499 Stone you posted. Again thanks for taking the time to help out : ). It looks like it has more sparkle and is brighter compared to my original 1.16 LG550230739. Could that be only from the videos ambient lighting and settings ? Also does it really matter / is the hearts and arrows on the IGI pertinent ?

As long as there are no issues with symmetry, then the H&A designation isn't as pertinent in real-world viewing. Pertinent to the mind for some, though.

Might be worth a look with your own eyes...you can always return it if it doesn't capture your heart (if you live in an area where returns/refunds would be rather easy).

The 1.70 is beautiful!

It's hard to compare sparkle and brightness when the lighting conditions are so different for the two stones, but I agree that the 1.70 looks great. I also think a stone could be H&A without the report saying so, and most of these reports only have stock H&A images anyway, so the designation isn't all that helpful.

Marcyc please contact Ritani and 0ut the 1.70 on hold/reserve so someone else doesn't buy it and you lose it!
