It's gorgeous Octo2005. Congratulations!!! Are you sure it's a cushion brilliant? No offense!! It's beautiful and Steven did an amazing job. I think I see a culet. It looks more like an antique cushion with the big facets. Can someone tell me I'm just mistaken? Maybe wrong angle of viewing?

Great eye - you are correct it does have a medium culet and a mix of faceting. It is a modern stone with a great antique feel to it without the modern branded antique cut premium or the super pronounced maltese cross. I guess that the facet pattern would more closely resemble an antique cushion brilliant, but GIA labeled it cushion brilliant and it is not an antique stone . I believe Charmypoo had labeled this a hybrid half modern/half in her "cushion 101". I find it a great mix of sparkle and big bold flashes.

I came across it by pure luck and fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It was truly a needle in a haystack!
