I wanted to thank everyone who helped me in my idea to get to the five stone of my dreams. I started with the search for a very blingy ring, but quickly realized that I did not want too much. Post by @Dancing Fire in my last thread finalized this thinking. I wanted something of an extremely high quality and size did not matter that much.
The ring is 1.15 ctw of G/VS1 diamonds. As Ideal cut vendors were not accessible for me in Europe, I went with the local vendor who was willing to bring in a large parcel of stones and let me inspect them. All diamonds have visible hearts and arrows and I made sure to scrutinize each and every of them under idealscope and under the loupe before accepting them for a ring.
I chose a custom setting to make sure that it wears well. European shank helps against spinning and bars allow for max finger coverage without being over the top.
I was very worried about comfort, so bar setting was a perfect solution - no poking between fingers possible and the stones are still very safe
