Custom ring for anniversary. Need help with stones.

I am planning to give my wife an half eternity type ring for our anniversary and I would like something sapphire and a bit red/purple. I picked these stones -

The spinel goes in the centre and the the blue sapphires around the spinel, two on each side. My question is regarding the stones. From the pictures, do these look like quality stones and is the price fair?

The spinel looks extinct and will probably be black most of the time. It may be better to have a true black spinel precision cut for you if that is look that you want. Doug Menadue can cut a very nice black spinel. http://www.bespoke-gems.com/SacredGeometrics_MainFoyer.php

This is another option for a dark purple spinel. I don't love it because I feel like the heart is squat (wide), and it does not look eye clean to me. The color, however, is not as dark as the Gemselect one, which is a good thing.

Thanks for your input. Maybe it would be easier if I post my budget and let you knowledgeable people help me. I am looking for something around $1000, $1200 with the setting and red/purple/pink stone in the middle with sapphires around it in a half eternity style.

Also, I did read about BE treatment and honestly I am on the fence about it. As long as the stone looks good and the price is fair, I don't care if it is treated or not.

If you have a vendor in mind, you could ask them how much the setting would cost. I am not sure how much money you will have left for stones as the price of settings is high.

Ditto; is your budget only for the stones or is it for the entire ring?
